First of all I want to tell you that I absolute love Lanzarote  and last year I was fortunate enough to go back there after 25 years.

From my point of view Lanzarote is a perfect example of style and design thanks to its natural elements  and  Cesar Manrique, an amazing artist and designer. His style was very modern and essential, each colour was carefully chosen and plants had a very important role in all of his works.

Born in the last century he wanted to preserve the natural dramatic beauty by perfectly integrating his works into the landscape.

He succeeded and was a true visionary of the jungle mood.

I observed all his works scattered all over the island, which are perfectly integrated in the landscape. His style was very modern and essential, each colour was carefully chosen and plants had a very important role in every single work.
