In June I had the pleasure of creating the wedding floral decorations for a young, sweet German couple.
Lisa, the bride, chose the timeless elegance of a white and green palette for all the wedding creations. I'm always surprised by how many different shades of white there are. For the flowers I proposed fluffy baby's breath, soft hydrangeas, elegant roses and delicate detailed Queen Anne's lace. A touch of olive completed the look.
The symbolic ceremony was held in front of a white marble stone staircase. Lisa chose an elegant gold ring arch decorated with olive branches illuminated with white roses, hydrangea and baby's breath. Bunches of small olive branches were tied to the guests' white chairs.
After the very emotional intimate ceremony everybody moved to the front terrace overlooking the vineyard and the pool, to enjoy the aperitif and dinner.
Each table was decorated with transparent glass bud vases with flowers and greenery. Different shape vases added movement to the decoration. For each guest there was a small olive bottle and on each napkin an elegant menu with a small olive twig.
Finally for the bridal bouquet we chose a fluffy cloud of baby's breath, perfect for her elegant and sparkly bridal gown.
