In September I created the wedding floral decorations for a sweet, young couple. The bride Siè was from Colombia and the groom Patrick, from Germany. Being an international couple with friends and family coming from all over the world, they decided to celebrate their union in romantic Italy. Siè and Patrick immediately fell in love with the location, a very dreamy estate near lake Garda, set amongst vineyards and olives.

Taking inspiration from the muted shades of the old houses along the river, the bride composed her colour palette. This included different shades of cream from vanilla to toasted caramel, a splash of yellow, peach, apricot, pink, lilac and coral. The majestic coral peony was the main focus flower for all the floral arrangements.

A very light graceful idyllic style and a delicate palette with shades from light pink to peach, white, a light blue brush and olive green for this wedding. I decided to create organic floral decorations to match the earthy and rustic style of the church. In the same theme I made natural elegant compositions for the tables. Being summer, I was able to use cornflowers in the compositions that added that lightness and gentleness to all the decorations.
