A very sweet young German-Russian couple planned their romantic wedding, in a beautiful villa set in the amazing vineyards of Valpolicella in Northen Italy, near Lake Garda.
For all the wedding floral decorations, Ekaterina chose a delicate colour palette in a dreamy elegant style.
Symbolic ceremony
The small lake and park behind the villa, were the perfect backdrop for the symbolic afternoon ceremony. The couple wanted a romantic floral arch placed in front of the lake in the shade. I chose soft white hydrangeas, pale pink roses, tiny white baby’s breath and rich pink carnations together with a variety of greenery in different hues. A final touch was a scattering of petals along the aisle and two elegant floral arrangements to welcome the guests.
Aperitif
After the ceremony, the party went on in the garden where cocktails were served and Ekaterina threw her second bouquet.
Dinner
At sunset, dinner was served in front of the luxurious façade. Each table was decorated with elegant soft flowers arranged in gold bowls with tiny sparkling lights and flickering candles.
Bride’s preparation
Ekaterina wore a graceful bridal gown of delicate tulle, an embroidered bodice and a flowing veil. To match her dress, I created a timeless romantic bridal bouquet in the same delicate tones of all the flowers.
And for her lovely bridesmaids I created special floral armwrists.
All in all, a perfect summer wedding on Lake Garda!
