On a stunning sunny Saturday in May, Annette and Daniel celebrated their romantic wedding in a Valpolicella vineyard near Verona. Their guests arrived from all over Europe to celebrate their very important day.
Morning preparations
Annette and Daniel chose an intimate boutique hotel overlooking the wonderful city of Verona. Here they got ready with their bridesmaids, best man and intimate friends, before the wedding began.
Annette’s favourite flower was the majestic peony so I created a timeless elegant bridal bouquet with delicate, fluffy light pink peonies. This bouquet went perfectly with her elegant off-white tracksuit trousers.
Symbolic ceremony
The couple chose a natural setting for their symbolic ceremony.
A small woodland copse with its pond was the perfect place for it. Romantic floral decorations added a gentle delicate touch to the whole scene.
Two natural floral arrangements on gold stands decorated the aisle. White chairs with posy bouquets tied with light fluttering organdy ribbons and a rich green garland with colourful flowers adorned the wooden fence. And last but not least, an elegant black pianoforte added a special touch.
Aperitif
After the very emotional ceremony, the guest enjoyed an informal aperitif in the garden of the romantic villa. Small garden tables were decorated with crystal bud vases with various seasonal flowers.
Dinner
Dinner was served in the stylish Salone delle Muse, below a stunning frescoed ceiling. I decorated each table with a romantic natural, yet contemporary, floral arrangement where white and delicate pink peonies had the supporting role. I paired them with seasonal green viburnum, delicate camomile, rich lilac carnations, white and pink roses and light white eustoma.
Cutting the wedding cake
In front of the impressive villa the happy couple cut their delicious fruit wedding cake.
