Paula and Marius, a young couple living in the UK, decided to celebrate their intimate summer wedding in the romantic city of Verona, well known for Romeo and Juliet.
Morning preparations
The happy couple arrived at the villa in the morning to enjoy the romantic location and coordinate the last details of their wedding.
Later on Paula, her best friends and bridesmaids started getting ready while sipping champagne.
For her bridal bouquet Paula wanted a very natural style in the same palette of all the floral wedding decorations: light blue, white and a touch of yellow. I chose a mix of flowers starting with delicate white camomile, round light blue chrisant, romantic white roses, a touch of yellow with craspedia, light white false goat’s beard, and elegant dusty light blue larkspur.
The bouquet went perfectly with her clean cut yet romantic bridal gown and its delicate lace floral veil.
Orthodox ceremony in Verona
At Paula’s request I created two pure white bouquets that I tied to elegant white candles. These were used during the intimate orthodox ceremony.
Dinner at an Italian countryside villa near Verona
Paula had in mind an Amalfi style floral decorations in white, light blue and yellow. Lemons were the main theme for this Mediterranean setting.
The light cream façade and blossoming Italian curated gardens were the perfect backdrop for dinner.
The long imperial table was decorated with romantic yet modern floral arrangements with lemons and flowers, crystal bud vases, candle holders with sky blue candles and flickering tea-lights in gold holders.
The whole setting was bathed in the light of the sunset with and amazing lucky rainbow!
As night approached warm Italian string lights twinkled in the dark sky.
Kind words from Paula
‘Tania thank you so much for everything. The flowers were amazing and everyone loved them.’
