For the autumn shoot in Villa della Torre I wanted to create a cosy, velvet, elegant atmosphere.
For this floral design I started with a palette of 2 colours: caramel and burgundy.
The main flower of all the creations was the stunning and timeless Westminster rose. Named after the majestic Westminster Abbey, thanks to its grey hue.
Caramel carnations and capuccino eustoma lent the perfect shades of caramel and bordeaux carnations and dacus dara added tones of burgundy. I played around with the contrasting textures, the opulent velvet petals of carnation, delicate eustoma and transparent dacus dara. I specifically chose the ethereal essence of ranunculus butterfly and its silky petals to add movement and light to the overall table decorations.
The final touch to the table was inspired by a still-life painting. A small vintage stand was the perfect host to black grapes, caramel-yellow pears, small delicious orange kumquat and red radicchio.Flickering candels in crystal and golden candle-holders created a cosy, warm glow the whole table.
