I’ll start right away with the nice words from Elisa, just after her wedding: ’Hi Tania, I want to thank you for everything, the tables, the bridal bouquet, the buttonholes the floral decorations for the ceremony. Thank you, everything was perfect and you made our day even more beautiful’.
When I first met Elisa, she told me she wanted a joyful, relaxed vibe for her big day. They chose a romantic countryside villa near Verona, with a dreamlike wood. The colours that expressed her vision best were: bright orange, sunny yellow, shades of pink, combined with a touch of delicate peach and white.
The symbolic ceremony was held in a small garden surrounded by trees, which donated a fairytale vibe. With that in mind, I decorated it with hanging flowers and fluttering, coloured ribbons.
After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed the apertif, relaxing on cushions in the shade of century old trees. The bubbling brook added a refreshing feel to the afternoon.
Dinner was served at front of the villa, overlooking the magnificent Italian garden and the rolling Veneto hills. The floral decorations for the long wooden tables, were that of a magical late summer garden. Playing with different varieties, colours, shapes of flowers and bud vases helped me create the effect.
As the evening approached, Italian lights, together with flickering candles, added to the intimate romantic atmosphere.
And last but not least, I created a very romantic bridal bouquet in a delicate and dreamy palette.
