Last June, Claudia and Karl, a very sweet German couple, chose the beautiful vineyard valley of Valpolicella in the North of Italy, near Lake Garda, for their wedding
Claudia chose a total white palette in different shades for the day’s elegant floral scenography .
They tied the knot in a stunning Romanesque church with an amazing view of Lake Garda. I chose baby’s breath for the main flower in the floral decorations, paired with elegant hydrangeas and pure white roses. A small cloud of baby’s breath, tied with white ribbons, adorned each bench. A cascade of soft baby’s breath and roses decorated the altar, in a warm romantic candlelight.
The reception was held in the elegant villa Mosconi Bertani, in the very heart of the Valpolicella region.
Dinner was served in the stylish Salone delle Muse, below a stunning frescoed ceiling. I decorated each table with a romantic natural floral arrangement set in an elegant gold bowl, surrounded by small gold vases with baby’s breath and tiny lights intertwined with flowers. I selected flowers in different shades of white: elegant roses and scabious, delicate eustoma, soft hydrangea and baby’s breath.
For her richly embroidered mermaid style dress, Claudia wanted a very romantic elegant bridal bouquet with white hydrangea and baby’s breath.
It was a wonderful joy-filled dreamy day!
